Join us for Open House on Saturday, October 22, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Stop by and see firsthand why Mater Dei is the place to be for exceptional academic programs, the arts, athletics and more – all in a faith-filled, nurturing community. Highlights of the day include campus tours featuring the Academy of Science labs, an art exhibition, performances by the band and choir, academic department information tables and more. November 1, 2016 Tuition Assistance Applications Available
Tuition assistance applications are available online from our website beginning on November 1, 2016. Completed applications must be submitted by January 17, 2017. For questions regarding tuition assistance, please contact Ms. Margie Hernandez, the Registrar at (619) 423 – 2121 ext 128.
January 20, 2017 Application Due Date
The online application and $50.00 testing fee are due. Submitting the application and testing fee automatically registers your child for the placement test on January 21. Students must take the HSPT at Mater Dei on 1/21/17 to be eligible to receive scholarships
January 21, 2017 High School Placement Test
The High School Placement Test for Mater Dei will be held at our campus. Please arrive no later than 7:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. The test will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. and will end by 11:30 a.m. Please bring two sharpened no. 2 pencils. Calculators are not permitted.
February 9, 2017 Tuition Assistance Application Due Date

February 17, 2017 Report Cards & Letter of Recommendation (Optional)
Report cards from 7th and the first semester of 8th grade, as well as standardized test scores from 7th and 8th grade, if applicable, must be received in our Admissions office no later than Friday, February 17, 2017. One Letter of Recommendation (Optional) may be submitted by Friday, February 17, 2017.

9th grade applicants are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) – Saturday, January 21, 2017 (7:45am – 11:15am )
10th & 11th grade applicants

All applicants will have a personal interview with a school administrator or faculty member. Interview is scheduled after the admissions exam.
A transcript of grades and copies of standardized testing for the past TWO grades/years will be needed for the application process. Request for Transcript form is available online or at MDCHS school office. Transcripts and records are to be mailed from the current school to Mater Dei.
All applicants must obtain ONE letter of recommendation from either a school administrator, teacher, or pastor.
