Q. How do I apply?
A. Fill out an application for our entrance exam, located on our website under the Admissions tab or pick up an application in the front office. The application for the entrance exam must be completed by January 15, 2010.
Q. When is the entrance exam?
A. The entrance exam will be held at Mater Dei Catholic High School on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 7:45 AM.
Q. What happens after the exam?
A. All applicants will be interviewed at Mater Dei Catholic High School in the first two weeks of February 2010. You will receive a formal response of your admission status from Mater Dei Catholic School by February 26, 2010.
Q. How do I register?
A. Attend Freshmen registration night on March 9 or March 11, 2010.

Q. What is the current tuition?
A. Catholic and U.S. Resident - $10,380 Non-Catholic or International - $12,180 Registration/Book Fee - $670
You must be registered in a San Diego parish for more than one year and be a U.S. resident to be eligible for the Catholic tuition rate.
Q. Are there merit based scholarships?
A. Merit scholarships are awarded to the top 5 scores based upon performance on the entrance exam. Merit scholarships entitle the recipient to a 50% reduction in tuition for all four years and are valued at over $20,000. Students must take the entrance exam at Mater Dei Catholic High School on January 23, 2010 to be eligible for merit scholarships.
Q. Is tuition assistance available?
A. Need-based tuition assistance is awarded to those families who are most in need of financial aid. Students must take the entrance exam at Mater Dei Catholic High School on January 23, 2010 to be eligible for tuition assistance.
Q. How do I apply for tuition assistance?
A. Information about tuition assistance will be available on February 1, 2010 and must be completed by March 12, 2010. You must be registered to be considered for tuition assistance.
Q. What percentage of applicants receive tuition assistance?
A. 67% of those who applied for tuition assistance for the 2009-2010 school year received assistance.
Q. What is the average tuition assistance package?
A. $3,600 for the 2009-2010 school year.
Q. When is the first tuition payment available?
A. The first tuition payment is due in July 2010 for the 2010-2011 school year.
