Aaliyah Balagtas ’20 was the Valedictorian in 2020! As a first-generation Filipino American woman, she didn’t leave any opportunity on the table while attending Mater Dei Catholic High School. Her zeal to serve in many leadership roles and make the world around her better left a positive mark on her alma mater.
Eric Trus ’20 stepped into a newly created role as the Mater Dei historian and captured the Crusader experience over his four years in quite an amazing way. His passion for helping people and making a difference has led him to studying nursing at San Diego State University.
