Blue & Gold Night
Blue & Gold Night
This year’s Blue and Gold event was an unbelievable success, raising more than $100,000 towards sustaining the Mater Dei Catholic mission. Hundreds of parents, alumni, and even Chula Vista Mayor John McCann enjoyed amazing meals, one-of-a-kind auction items, and danced well until the final seconds of the night!
We have never had a bigger, more exciting, more beautiful, and more successful event than this year’s Blue and Gold Night.
Not many schools can say they had a legendary GRAMMY-nominated performer at their events, but Frankie J, P ’19 ’23, brought the house down.
If you missed it, we have additional pictures and video on our social media sites.
Other schools may devote their energy to bake sales, selling chocolate bars door-to-door, or other resource-intensive fundraising efforts to survive. We do things differently.
The Mater Dei Fund was established to keep a Mater Dei Catholic education accessible to our families.
We only hold three major events: Crusader Giving Day, our annual Golf Tournament, and our premiere fundraising event of the year, Blue and Gold Night.
Although we are a school rooted in our faith, traditions, and history, together we are building a learning community that will go on to influence and shape the future for decades to come.
There is no other school that offers what Mater Dei Catholic does. No one even comes close.
We are already working on next year’s events, inspired by the excitement, appreciation, and support of our families and greater Mater Dei Catholic Community.
