We will graduate our first class to enter our high school in Fall of 2022! Students who enter the high school from our elementary school bring many advantages with them. They will enter 9th grade with a built-in family, and familiar faces and environment. They will also qualify to receive sibling discounts on tuition and an ease of transition to high school.

Catholic Education is founded on the belief that parents are the primary educators of their students. Mater Dei Catholic Elementary strives to foster a sense of community for all families to create a true multicultural community of faith and excellence.

We act as members of the global community to promote peace and justice

Students at MDCE aren’t immersed in this dual language program just to become bilingual. Students see one another as a family – one community coming together regardless of border, address or language spoken at home. We believe exposing children to multicultural learning gives them a global perspective, and this is especially important when living in a border town. Families need to feel welcome on campus and language should not be a barrier to contributing to the school. In addition, the site will focus on raising the capacity of all families on the Dual Immersion Model to better understand their students’ education.

Parent Academy

MDCE is proud to offer a Parent Academy which includes enrichment opportunities for parents to gain knowledge related to academics, social and emotional family issues, healthy technology use at home and how to strengthen the family unit. These academies are offered once a quarter and we look forward to continuing to support our parent community.
