Just a friendly update, the County health department is no longer requiring us to send Community Notifications every time there is a reported positive COVID-19 case on campus. Going forward, we will only be sending communications to close contacts who are directly impacted. Please join President of Mater Dei Catholic, Fr. Joaquin Martinez, SJ for a Zoom presentation titled, “Together We Soar into the Future.” Fr. Martinez and the Advancement Team will map out our upcoming campaigns and plans for campus expansion and upgrades.
ASB will be selling Halloween candy grams outside Ms. Rolston's office to students for $1 every day during lunch next week. Come by and send a candy gram to a friend, teacher, or special someone.
We are excited to announce that our homecoming dance will be on-campus Wednesday, November 10th. Due to COVID restrictions, the dance will be limited to Mater Dei Juniors and Seniors only. Tickets can be purchased online starting Monday, October 18th. Any questions, please see Ms. Rolston.

We will be having our school-wide PSAT and SAT School Day on October 13, 2021. Testing day is a mandatory school day for 9th, 10th, and 11th grades. Students will report to their Advisory classroom on that day. ONLY those 12th graders who registered for the SAT SCHOOL DAY need to report to school. Seniors taking the SAT will report to the school Gym. There is NO school for seniors who DID NOT register for the test.
Now that we have been back full time for several weeks, we wanted to check in with our Crusader families to see how your students are adjusting. We are committed to the wellness of your child and to providing a quality Catholic education.
We are battling St. Augustine (Saints) in more than just football next week. We will be competing with them in a recycling challenge. The school that recycles the most plastic bottles will win money for the charity of the school's choice. When we win, we will be donating to the Alpha Project, which helps the homeless population of San Diego.
