Welcome to Mater Dei Catholic High School where we pride ourselves on academic excellence in a nurturing, faith-filled environment. We strive to meet every student’s individual learning needs, by creating an environment where each student can excel. Our holistic approach to education includes outstanding programs in the arts, athletics, and co-curricular activities. Excellence is the standard as teachers challenge students to engage fully in a curriculum that prepares them with the knowledge, skills and integrity to meet the challenges of a changing global society.
One of our goals is to humanize education, so we have a strong focus on service. The Catholic Church has a long history of social justice and we expect our students to continue this tradition. Our graduation requirements call for each student to perform twenty-five service hours each year they attend MDCHS. Throughout High School, they will learn the many needs of local, national, and global communities. They will be prepared to live a life advocating for people in need and learn to work to protect human dignity.
I have a firm belief that each student who makes Mater Dei their home will experience outstanding academic and social opportunities, and cultivate friendships and relationships that they will have for life. We welcome you to become a part of the Crusader family!
On behalf of the Mater Dei Catholic High School faculty, staff and administration, I send my sincerest best wishes to our Crusader family.
At Mater Dei, we constantly strive to meet the challenges of the 21st century through new strategies, new pedagogies and reinforcing our mission so that we can continue to provide the very best faith-filled education for our students. Our school utilizes the President/Principal leadership model. As Principal, I have the distinct role in the leading and closely working with our students, parents and faculty in the day-to-day operations. It is our goal and responsibility to create a successful and challenging environment which provides excellent programs and opportunities for our students.
As always, thank you for giving Mater Dei Catholic the opportunity to help you with your son or daughters development educationally, spiritually, athletically and socially.
As a Marian Catholic graduate, (Class of ’72), faculty member and now Principal, I am truly honored and privileged to continue the Crusader tradition.
